We, the members whose names are written in this book, believing in and holding to the faith once delivered to the saints;  upon confession of faith and having been baptized by the authority of the church of God, do covenant together to keep house for the Lord, that we will observe all the ordinances as given to the church and follow the discipline as taught in His word, without respect of persons, and will not forsake the sacred principles taught in God’s word to please any man, but by the Grace of God we will seek to please Jesus the great head over all things to the church, our lawgiver, Judge, and King; and thus be His humble servants.  We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together in the service of God unless we are providentially hindered. We will endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace and consider one another, to provoke unto love and good works, to be sober and watch unto prayer; and withdraw ourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, warn the unruly, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, and be patient toward all men, and not render evil for evil but endeavor to follow that which is good among ourselves and to all men.  We will strive together for the things that make for peace and order in the house of God as taught in His word.

We will watch over one another for good and let brotherly love continue, and adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour with an orderly wait and Godly conversation and thus show forth the praise of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
